Episode 3 - Burnt
Mill Hare Scramble, Laurens SC 11/06/2005-
Burnt Mill Hare
Scramble was near the end of the 05 season for the Mid East Hare
Scramble and was a well run race. The organizers had laid
out a good fast course with lots of woods work and several tough
jumps to fly over. Team EnduroCast
had two riders running at the race and competed and
finished in both Super Senior C, Al Montemayor and the ATV
class, Joe Marion.
We met and
interviewed several riders at this event and even had an
opportunity to speak to one of the class winners
Bill Eddenfield from SC in Vet A 250. We also chatted
with a couple of our follow SETRA Enduro racers who had driven
up from Tenn.,
Pooner Powell and
John Fisher. Two more 250 riders we interviewed were
Craig Brammer and
Todd Hall. We had the pleasure to speak with a young
rising star in the women's class on a 200 KTM,
Miss Katie Norton. We are sure she has a big future in
off-road racing in front of her . |
